Incident 31/08

  • Dolores Kilgo:

    To the 31/08 rescue team:
My good friend was the American tourist who was rescued from the Doolin cave by the Doolin Coast Guard team. What a challenge to get her out through a narrow, dark, slippery passageway and up and out through a narrow shaft. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You were so competent and compassionate. She was definitely ill (not just a panic attack) and spent three days in the hospital. You probably saved her life.
