Freagh Point

At 14.05 , Doolin Coast Guard Unit were paged to go to Freagh Point near Miltown Malbay. A man had been cut off from the mainland by the incoming tide. Doolin D-Class launched at Liscannor and the Delta went to the scene from Doolin pier.On arrival, The D-Class crew took the man onboard and put him safely ashore.

Flare

At 15.00 Doolin Coast Guard investigated a suspected flare at Trá Leathain.

A member of the public saw what they  believed to be a flare,

on investigation it was found to be a firework.
