Report of Boat washing up on rocks

At 17.44 , Doolin Coast Guard Unit were tasked to go to Lahinch by MRCC Valentia. There had been a report of a small boat with 4 persons on board, in danger of washing onto the rocks at Lahinch. Team members went immediately to Lahinch while others assembled at Doolin Coast Guard Base and crew launched the Delta Rib . The D-Class was taken by road to Liscannor where they would launch and assist if required.When Coast Guard personnel arrived on scene at Lahinch the boat was making it’s way away from the shore and back to Liscannor. The Coast Guard Helicopter , Rescue 115 Helicopter had been tasked but stood down. Coast Guard stayed on scene until the boat reached Liscannor Pier. The Delta returned to Doolin and team stood down.
