Doolin Coast Guard were called to assist Gardaí at Fanore , to help locate a missing person. The Coast Guard team was tasked just after 03.00 by MRSC , Valentia . The team went to the area and found the person safe shortly after. The Shannon Coast Guard Rescue helicopter had also been tasked to assist. Team stood down.

Well done to Jason , Killaloe CG, Eddie and Seamus, Costelloe Bay CG and Eoin Keane of Doolin CG who won the JSAR Sheild at the JSAR games in Fermanagh last weekend.

Congratulations to Chris, Christy and Geoff of Killaloe CG and Eoin, Costelloe Bay CG who won the Cup for Valentia.

Assistance to Ambulance crew

HSE Ambulance Paramedics requested the assistance of  Doolin Coast Guard .Some members assisted in taking a patient from their home to the ambulance.

Child airlifted from Fanore beach

Doolin Coast Guard was tasked by MRSC , Valentia to assist the Shannon Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter with an incident at Fanore .They had been tasked to airlift a young child who was unwell from the Fanore Beach area.Coast Guard members left for Fanore and  Rescue Helicopter 115 arrived quickly on scene and airlifted the child to hospital.
