Airlift at Quilty

At 07.50 Doolin Coast Guard Unit were called to assist a man who had fallen from a 30 ft cliff at Quilty, Co Clare. The Shannon based helicopter , Rescue 115 were also called to the scene. The casualty was collared and boarded and winched to the helicopter. He was then taken to Galway University Hospital.
