Boat assisted off Hags Head

At 15.30 on Sunday , Doolin Coast Guard Unit was tasked by MRCC Valentia to attend to a boat with engine trouble just off Hags Head.The boat had 10 passengers on board and 2 crew. The Coast Guard were asked to assist as a precautionary measure ,the Doolin Coast Guard Delta rib was launched , went to the location and stood by the boat as it returned to Liscannor Pier. Doolin Coast Guard D-Class crew and team members were on standby at Liscannor Pier if needed.On return to Liscannor pier it was found that the  boat had a rope stuck in the prop. Doolin Coast Guard Unit Stood down and returned to  Base.
