The Doolin Coast Guard team was tasked by MRSC , Valentia to assist a boat just off Mutton Island.  The boat had been about to anchor when it’s prop became tangled in fishing gear. The Doolin Coast Guard Delta took the boat on tow into Quilty Pier. The Doolin Coast Guard D-Class launched from Quilty and made sure no fishing gear was in the Deltas way as they made their approach into Quilty in darkness with the boat on tow. The boat had been on a passage around Ireland having left Liverpool last Friday .
