Boat with engine failure

Doolin Coast team was tasked before 18.40 this evening , by MRSC Valentia , to assist a boat with engine trouble off Doolin Point. The team assembled and launched the Delta boat. A short time later the crew located the boat ,  rigged a tow line on the casualty vessel and brought the passengers onboard the Coast Guard boat. They returned to Doolin and towed the boat alongside into the Pier. They assisted the owners to recover the boat.

  • Thanks a million for the very speedy response to our call, the other evening, . We are very grateful for the brilliant rescue service we have here in Doolin; it gives us great confidence, knowing that if anything goes wrong.we are only a phone call from rescue?
Again many thanks from John and I for the speedy and very proffessional recovery of our boat,
and the best of luck in ye’r new building.
God Bless ye all Mickey Joe
