Casualty recovered from Doolin Cave
Doolin Coast Guard was tasked by MRSC Valentia to remove a casualty from the main chamber of Doolin Cave. The HSE Ambulance was also tasked to treat the casualty, who had become weak and was unable to come out of the cave unassisted. Coast Guard members assembled and set up the climbing and hauling gear. The casualty was placed on a stretcher and taken to the main shaft and then hauled to ground level.
