Injury at Aill na Searrach

Doolin Coast Guard was tasked to assist the HSE Ambulance Service. A walker had sustained a leg injury at Aill na Searrach , North of the Cliffs of Moher visitor Centre. HSE Paramedics treated the casualty and Coast Guard members stretchered the casualty from the cliff top to the road where the ambulance was waiting.

Leg injury, Cliffs of Moher path

Doolin Coast Guard was tasked this evening,to assist the HSE Ambulance Service. A walker had sustained a leg injury South of the viewing platform. HSE Paramedics and Cliffs of Moher Rangers treated the casualty. Coast Guard members stretchered the casualty from the path onto a farm track and to the road to the ambulance.

Doolin Coast Guard was tasked to assist the HSE Ambulance Service near the Cliffs of Moher. A walker had sustained a leg injury on the path South of the viewing platform. Coast Guard members stretchered the casualty to the ambulance.

Ferry passenger assisted

Doolin Coast Guard was tasked by MRSC, Valentia , to assist a person who had sustained a leg injury while on a ferry. The team members met the ferry at Doolin Pier and assisted the casualty until the HSE Ambulance arrived. The casualty was assisted from the boat to the ambulance.

Divers recover body and call out to Cliffs

Doolin Coast Guard was tasked by MRSC, Valentia , to assist with the recovery of a body. The Burren Divers had been diving off Lough Point , when they discovered a body at a depth 24 metres. They marked the location and returned to the pier in Doolin to alert the emergency services. The Delta was launched and the D-Class proceeded from Lahinch. The Burren Divers returned to the location with the Doolin Coast Guard boat and the divers retrieved the body.The body was recovered to the Coast Guard Boat and returned to Doolin
Incident 51/16
Just after the Delta launched the team was tasked to assist with an incident south of the Cliffs of Moher. A man had suffered a stroke while on the cliff path.Coast Guard members went to the Cliffs, and the Shannon Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter, Rescue 115 had also been tasked .The casualty was assisted by HSE Ambulance Paramedics and the team stretchered the casualty to the helicopter.
