Cliff fall at Spanish Point
The team was tasked at 03.25 this morning by MRSC , Valentia , to assist the HSE Ambulance Service with a casualty who had fallen from a cliff onto the rocky seashore below at Spanish Point. On arrival at the scene the team members assisted the ambulance crew with the casualty . The Shannon based Coast Guard Helicopter , Rescue 115 , had also been tasked , and the casualty was stretchered across the shore to a location where she could be winched up to the helicopter . The team stood down.
