Fall at Ailladee

Doolin Coast Guard Unit was tasked by MRSC , Valentia to an incident at Ailladee , a popular climbing area north of Doolin.The casualty had sustained injuries after a fall and was airlifted by Rescue 115 to hospital in Galway.

  • I would like to thank to all who were involved in this callout for perfect handling of the situation. In this accident I broke two of my lumbar vertebra. I’m recovering well and I’m starting rehabilitation. And this is greatly thanks to Doolin Coast Guard.
