Cyclists assisted during Tour de Burren
2 cyclists who fell from their bikes at different locations during the Tour de Burren cycling race in North Clare were assisted. One cyclist was airlifted by the Shannon Coast Guard Rescue helicopter ,Rescue 115 , and taken to hospital in Cork. The second cyclist was treated by Doolin Coast Guard members and the HSE Ambulance Paramedics and was then taken to hospital in Limerick.
