Following a search that began early this morning , the bodies of the two Quilty fisherman from the Lady Eileen were recovered by divers from the boat. Local fishing trawlers worked for a number of hours hauling nets from the sunken boat to make it as safe as possible for divers. Rescue 117 , the Waterford based Coast Guard Helicopter assisted with the search in the morning. The Garda Divers had travelled to Clare and were ready to dive when the bodies were recovered by local divers. The Aran Islands Lifeboat, Killaloe Coast Guard and Kilkee Coast Guard Units assisted today as well as Kilkee Marine Rescue and many local boats.

Irish Coast Guard staff from the Malin Division were on the way with Side Sonar equipment to assist in the search while Killaloe Coast Gaurd Unit had taken their ROV ,  ( underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle )
