DELTA RIB

The Delta 7.9 mt Rigid inflatible boat is equiped with a GPS/Chart Plotter which enables us to navigate by GPS (Global Positioning System),navigate at night time and at other times of poor visibility. This is used in conjunction with paper charts and regular contact (every fifteen minutes) with our base station/s

The delta also carries 2 Icom fixed VHF Radios. which are complimented by personal handheld VHF carried by each crew member.

An Auxilliary handheld GPS is carried on each boat to protect against electrical failure on either boat.

The Delta incorporates an intercom for communication between the crew and also for communication on the VHF band.

D-CLASS

The D-Class inflatible boat also has a fixed GPS/Chart Plotter and a fixed VHF radio. Personal handheld VHF and Handheld GPS are also carried.

GENERAL

In general use are 20 Icom handheld radios. 10 Garmin handheld GPS units. 2 Garmin handheld GPS/chart plotters

Thanks to the generosity of NOWCASTING INTERNATIONAL they have enabled a weather/sea forecasting system via the Internet to Laptop.

We have a DV Camera close to hand and a projector for briefing and training purposes.
