Inagh River
At 20.00 , Doolin Coast Guard Unit was tasked by MRCC Valentia to an incident at the Inagh River in Ennistymon where a man had fallen into the river . Coast Guard members went to the location. The Shannon Coast Guard Helicopter was also tasked to the incident. The man had fallen in close to the bank just below the Falls. The Ennistymon Gardaí and the Ennistymon Fire and Rescue Service had successfully taken the man from the water as team members arrived. He was then looked after by the Ennistymon HSE Ambulance. All rescue services were stood down.
