Six members of the Doolin Coast Guard team launched the Delta RIB this evening and travelled to Inis Oirr to take part in a joint exercise with the Inis Oirr Coast Guard. The Inis Oirr team is a newly established Coast Guard team and further enhances search and rescue resources in the Galway bay area. The joint exercise comprised of search management theory and a practical session of search techniques. We look forward to working closely with the Inis Oirr team into future.
