Recovery at Lahinch Beach

Doolin Coast Guard team was tasked by IRCG MRSC, Valentia  , to assist with the recovery of a casualty a Lahinch beach. Lifeguards had rushed to the aid of an elderly man who had collapsed in the water , he was removed from the water and efforts  were made to resuscitate him .  On arrival ,Coast Guard members assisted Lifeguards and HSE Ambulance personnel in the recovery of the man to the ambulance where a doctor was on scene. Sadly the man had passed away and efforts to resuscitate the casualty were unsuccessful.
