Recovery near Crab Island

At 13.05 today , Doolin Coast Guard Unit was tasked by MRSC Valentia, to search for a body in the water off Aill na Searach. The body had been seen and reported by a passenger vessel . Team members assembled and both boats were launched. Shore teams went to the cliffs . The boats carried out searches of the area moving north with the tides. At 15.45 the body was located south of Crab Island and taken onboard the Coast Guard Boat .
