Reported Light Aircraft Crash
At 14.12 , Doolin Coast Guard Unit was tasked by MRCC, Valentia to a reported incident off Inish Mór, also tasked was the Aran Islands Lifeboat, Shannon based Coast Guard Helicopter and Costello Bay Coast Guard Unit. A member of the public , on Inis Mór, had reported seeing a small aircraft crash land into the water off the Island towards Rossaveel.The Helicopter and all boats went to the area and carried out extensive searches of the area. Nothing was found and all teams were stood down.
