River search in Ennis

On Sunday evening,Doolin Coast Guard Unit were called to assist in the search for a child who had fallen into the river Fergus at Aughanteeroe in Ennis. The Ennis Fire Brigade , the Shannon Coast Guard helicopter, HSE Ambulance , the Gardaí and the Civil Defence were on scene. The child was located by a search team a short time later and rushed to Ennis General hospital. Doolin Goast Guard Unit were stood down while on route.
