The unit was tasked this evening by Valentia MRS to search for a missing person in the Cliffs of Moher area. The unit launched both it’s Delta RIB & D-class inflatable boats as well as deploying several shoreline search teams. The unit was subsequently assisted in the search by local Gardaí & and the Shannon based Coast Guard helicopter. With fading light the search has been called off until tomorrow morning.
