Doolin Coast Guard members were on duty at Doolin and Lahinch from early morning until 22.30 . There was extensive damage done again over night and early in the morning . Large crowds gathered last night to watch the high waves breaking in Lahinch. Coast Guard members and Clare Civil Defence were present until crowds left.

Doolin Coast Guard teams current building and base suffered further storm and flood damage.
