Some advice for parents and guardians of children on what to do in an emergency situation – teach them the mnemonic CASPER on the attached poster. If at a crowded beach with young children , take a picture of your child on your mobile so you have an image of them and what they are wearing on the day,  in case they get lost , and write your mobile number on their arm with a marker . It can save time and panic if you can be contacted quickly.

Enjoy the water, stay safe !
