Doolin Coast Guard members have been distributing childrens waterproof wrist labels to Life Guard Stations from an Trácht, Kinvarra to Quilty over the last few weeks. The bands are an initiative by the Irish Coast Guard to assist if a child gets lost on a busy beach . They were also handing out the popular plastic wrist bands that remind children of the Emergency number 112 , to call in an emergency.
