Winsurfer at Fanore Beach

At  16.28    today, Doolin Coast Guard Unit was tasked by MRCC, Valentia to an incident off Fanore Beach where a windsurfer was reported as being missing .The Shannon Coast Guard Helicopter was also tasked to the location.  The team assembled , both boats were prepared for launch, and crew ready. Shortly after the team were stood down as the windsurfer had made his way back to the beach.
